We throw an annual party at our house each year and since this month podcast technology turns six years old we decided to celebrate by baking a CherPumPple cake - which is six desserts in one. The layers are made up of a pumkin pie baked inside of a spice cake; a cherry pie baked inside a white cake; and an apple pie baked inside of a yellow cake; then covered in delicious cream cheese frosting!

My turn to shiver, cry softly, and rock back and forth in a corner....

Here's the scary part: A few hours later we brought out the chocolate fountain (yes, we are gluttons for punishment) and PG crossed the streams by dipping cakepiecakepiecakepie in it! Talk about decadent!

Next year, put the chocolate fountain inside the cakeisapie (or wrap one around the other...)

Perhaps mini cupcake-pies!

My favorite part was the spice cake with pumpkin pie inside. That was just amazingly good.
